After years of having the Silk Epil 1, I decided it was time to replace it. Not because he was broken but because I thought he was allowed to retire after 10 years of loyal service. After a long research compared a lot of epilators, I came to the Silk Epil 9 Flex. It allows you to epilate underwater, it has 40 tweezers and it promises to bring even the smallest hairs with you. My old epilator only had 20 tweezers and was attached to a cord, not really waterproof. Once I got inside the silkepil, I immediately saw that it is a luxury version epilator. Hou comes in a nice suede storage case, where you can also store all attachments. So you can easily take it with you on a trip. Speaking of that, this epilator contains a function that allows you to “lock” it. As a result, he cannot accidentally enter into when traveling. Just a short charge and I was able to get started with it immediately. First I tried it out on my dry skin. Because this is the way I always epilated before. I immediately noticed that he was “more painless”. I also finished much faster than my previous one. I've been doing about 5 minutes on both legs now. And what was promised was true, he took even the smallest hairs and makes my legs very smooth. Time to test him in the shower too. At first I thought it was rather scary because it is an electrical appliance but it is indeed really waterproof. There, too, he does what he has to do. And is it even less painful because your hair follicles have softened from the warm water. I do notice that it occasionally has a little more trouble taking even the smallest hairs, but even in the shower, your skin is still very smooth. So I am very happy to have traded my old one for this one. And I hope it will last as long as my old one. By that time, there will probably be other super sonic epilators.

I've been a fan of Braun's epilators since a young age. Since the end of last year, I purchased this new model and I am very satisfied with it. The flexible head makes it easy to remove hair in hard-to-reach areas (such as popliteal fossa and armpit). It is also convenient that this model can be used in the shower. The only downside to this product is that I notice a significant reduction in battery life after half a year of use. Newly purchased, the device certainly lasted a full epilation session with me (legs, arms and armpits), but recently the battery has already run out after only depilating my legs. Although this disadvantage, I would definitely recommend the product.
