I bought this as my first step into retinol, as it was one of the lowest percentage formulations I could find and I was nervous about adverse reactions. I have used it 2 to 3 times a week for the past 2 months and have definitely noticed that my skin feels a bit smoother and looks a bit brighter. It's not a huge difference, but there's definitely something there! The formulation isn't sticky and smells good.

I have used different brands retinol serums and I have some experience with retinol products. This serum has got very gentle texture, once applied to the skin I did not feel any harsh, irritating feeling. The fragrance is mild, not overpowering. It absorbs fast, does not leave any sticky/greasy feeling and skin feels smooth. I started using this serum once a week and noticed positive improvement to my skin. Skin looks smoother, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, improves pore look and also helps with blemishes and spots. However negative result which I got is that my skin gets very dry even if I use it only once a week and I don’t apply lots of products. After some time this dry skin starts peeling and it causes some slight irritation due to skin peeling. It disappears after 3-4 days. In my experience every retinol product left some slight skin peeling. I would continue using this serum once a week or once in 10 days as I like how it smoothies fine lines and wrinkles and helps with blemishes and spots.
