44 Iron Guard Spray

Quite easy to apply; just spray in your hair. But, I really don't like this heat protectant, because it feels like a hair spray; it makes hair sticky and brushing is impossible afterwards. I like my curly hair to be soft and bouncy, and not stiff and crunchy. It just doesn't feel protecting at all.. Would absolutely not recommend.

I was really curious about the CHI 44 Iron Guard Heat Protection Spray and have been using it for a while now. Overall, I'm quite happy with its operation! My hair definitely feels protected when styling with heat tools. It seems to be less damaged and stays healthy longer. What I really like is that the spray doesn't make my hair heavy. It stays fluffy and gets a nice shine. However, there is one thing I am a little less pleased about: the amount of spray that comes out. It is sometimes just a little too much, which makes my hair quite wet. This takes a little extra time to dry before I can continue styling. If you're looking for a good heat protection spray, the CHI 44 Iron Guard is definitely worth considering. It does what it promises and protects your hair from the heat of styling tools. Just keep in mind that you may need to experiment a bit with the amount of spray you use to prevent your hair from getting too wet.

Horrible product. First of all, spraying is impossible: I can spray very hard once and then I have to wait a while until the cap comes up again to spray again. Annoying. The product itself provides fairly rough hair. When blowing dry with the hair dryer or a hair dryer brush, this is still okay. My hair gets some extra volume. The disadvantage is that my hair can't be brushed after a day. Without this product, I don't have that. For use with a flat iron, this is really a disaster. Hair straightener runs very rough on my hair and doesn't style nicely. Making curls with this product in combination with a hair straightener is certainly not an option.
