Cotton bio
Very beautiful washable cotton pads, better for your skin and for the planet. You get a laundry bag so you can wash them in the washing machine. It is very pleasant to use, cleans your face easily and is very soft to the touch. Personally, I like them even softer and more beautiful than disposable cotton pads. Works great on sensitive skin. ✨ #nourishednewyear

Organic cotton pads. I went back from a moment, I let myself take the room to post/review nothing because I didn't feel great at energy level. First of all, of course, I would like to say that this product is not sustainable, that goes without saying. However, I think it's important that when I buy cotton (different products, from t-shirt&pants to bodycare products) I see if there is an option of organic cotton and/or fair cotton. I have been using these discs for a long time because they are fine and organic. But I use very few discs in general, because I often don't have makeup on which I just clean with a cleanser and because I always divide the disc in half. What I mean by that is that I take apart the two parts stuck together, cotton pads are generally very thick and work like a sponge; the thicker your cotton pad the more product it absorbs which means you're wasting a lot of product. In addition, I only use 1 half of a disc at a time, because my cleaning routine is like this: 1 I massage my face with the BYBI Swipe Clean Oil Cleanser (is in my shelfie) which I dilute a little by wet my hands first. This makes my makeup melt completely and let go of my skin, so I already have a lot of makeup on my hands that I clean afterwards. 2 then I use 1 half of a cotton pad where I put Pixi Hydrating Milky Makeup remover (in my shelfie). This allows me to remove as much of the BYBI oil and the remains of my makeup from my skin. 3 Then I use a cleanser/scrub/exfoliator to wash my skin with my hands and a washcloth. 4 I do very little this step nowadays. A toner, that of Pixi Glow Tonic (is in my shelfie) and I apply it with my hands. I used a pussy for this at first, but I think that's unnecessary. Because you always need to apply toner gently, so why not with your hands? Then my cleansing routine for a day of makeup is ready, then it starts to smear evening routine. So one day without makeup I never use a cotton pad. Next TOPIC- sustainable cotton pads. I've been looking for a sustainable option for a long time, even though I don't use it, I think it's a shame. What I find difficult about most/average sustainable options is that it's made of synthetic/plastic fabrics, that feels very bad and when you wash them, small particles of extra plastic get into the water and nature. What I see and read is that these discs often include a lot of product or that you need to wet them first, so I wouldn't like that in use. What I'm looking for is that they look nice, are about the same size as non sustainable options and you can buy them in larger quantities (or that they are cheaper so you can buy a little more of them without going broke) so I don't have to clean them by hand and everywhere through my house should hang up before drying. Finding fine wipes or discs isn't that easy for me, so I would love to get tips on that! So do you use sustainable cotton pads or wipes that meet my requirements a little, please let me know! X Vonne

@ [vonne.hageman] (vonne.hageman) the black ones are softer than the green ones, green exfoliates your face, hence the color at shampoo bars, I'm happy with them and now they even have a bamboo holder for it!
