I absolutely loooooove the new Black Opium perfume! I was never a fan of the original Opium—it just didn't resonate with me. But this one? It ticks all the boxes! Although it has some floral notes (and I'm generally not a lover of floral perfumes), this one manages to win me over completely. It leans more towards an Oriental, heavier scent, which makes it perfect for a night out. Every time I wear it, I get flooded with compliments. A little trick I always use: I put some cream on my pulse points before spraying the perfume. It helps the scent last much longer, and I love that it lingers through the night. And the packaging? Just as beautiful as the scent itself! It’s sleek, edgy, and elegant—a true jewel on my makeup table. It's not just a fragrance, it's a statement piece.

I am a person who is very nonchalant about scents and would just wear whatever in the morning before work and leave it at that. I got this as a birthday gift from my boyfriend and was really surprised. Firstly because of the name and i was afraid to even spray it and waste it but less is more and the reviews say it all, this is extraordinary

This smells lovely and unique on me; lots of pepper, vanilla, and patchouli with that hint of coffee. It has good sillage (projects but inoffensively) and longevity too. However! I've noticed Black Opium changes so much based on your individual body chemistry, more so than many other perfumes I've tried. On my mother, it smells just like super sweet berries with a hint of something bitter. It's not bad by any means, but it's not what it smells like in the bottle or on me. It smelled much more generic on her. That's why I'm rating this as Neutral; it's really important to test this one out beforehand to know what you can expect.
