🧼 HOW TO CLEAN YOUR BRUSHES 🧼 Helloooo Eves, Tonight I realized that my brushes could use a clean up again.. And when they were so neatly in a row I thought, let me share my tips with you! ☺️ When you use your brushes daily, it is recommended to wash them thoroughly weekly. And of course, after each use, just take off the biggest dirt. It also makes sense; otherwise you'll get back on your clean skin with that 'dirty' brush: a source of bacteria, which is a breeding ground for pimples etc. 🧼 THE CLEANING PROCESS 🧼 🧼 1. To clean them, I put some shampoo in a small container (just the one I had standing, that happened to be one of Andrélon, nothing special). I also attach the cleaning mat with the suction cups in my sink and leave a layer of warm water so that the mat is slightly underwater. 🧼 2. I dip the brush I want to clean into the shampoo tray, and then go with it over my cleaning mat. I then move the brush back and forth over the ridges so that all the dirt is gone well. When my brush returns to the original color as I bought it, I shake the brush off a few times so that all the water is out. Then I put the hair of the brush back into 'model' so it dries in the right way. 🧼 3. I roll up a tea towel and place the brushes next to each other so they can air dry. If you just put them in a jar of o.i.d., it may be that due to the moisture in the hair, the glue releases, and so your brush will fall apart. Therefore, choose to hang them (I don't find it convenient) or “lying down”, but in any case it can dry in the air. And you're done! 😍 Below is a picture of my most used brushes that could use a wash again! 🖌 So if you're bored in these times, take some time and clean your brushes thoroughly! How do you clean your brushes? I'm curious if there are people who might be doing things very different from me! Let me know... - 💋💋💋 -
