Olaplex - No.0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment - 155 ml

This product promises a lot as it would repair your damaged hair. I do have the idea that my hair has become stronger after I started using this product in combination with no. 3, no. 4 (shampoo) and no.5 (conditioner). However, I wasn't too excited about this no. 0, because it's mega awkward to apply to your hair. Because of that applicator, it is very difficult to distribute the product evenly over your hair and I also found it difficult to assess whether I had applied enough to my hair. I would only buy this no. 0 again in the form of an atomizer.

I used it in combination with no.3. Using it takes a bit of getting used to. I bought the bottle of atomizer. The atomizer sprays a very straight jet. So it is not very easy to distribute over the hair. I did not apply it at the start but especially in the lengths because they are the most damaged. Work for 10 minutes and then no.3 over it. No.3 is very easy to distribute over the hair. I'll let it work a little longer. I was able to do 3 treatments with a bottle of no.0 and a bottle no.3. I was hoping for mega shiny locks, but I didn't find the result very stunning. My hair is very soft, but it is even after using the shampoo no.4 and conditioner no.5. But at that price, I wouldn't buy it again anytime soon. There are other bond builder products for less money that offer the same result.

Although I'm a big fan of anything Olaplex, this pretreatment just doesn't do it for me. It starts with packaging: contrary to what the picture suggests, the product comes in a spray. This would have been useful, were it not for the fact that this spray sprays 1 thin trickle out, making it impossible to moisten the entire hair as needed for proper operation, without having to make up the whole product in one go. After the number 0, you need to act after 10 minutes, use the number 3 (the number 3 is a great product). I used both first, and then only number 3, and I simply don't notice any difference. Number 0 has not improved my hair in any way, even after regular use I don't notice any benefits compared to using the number 3 alone. In short: not worth the money!
