Dermalogica Awaken Peptide Eye Gel 15ml

For starters: I suffer from having fairly deep set eyes. If I so much as loose a couple of hours sleep from my 8hrs routine medium ( I know, sounds luxurious) I automatically have quite marked hollows under my eyes and purplish/green discoloration. So I'm always on the look for a product that can help me out. I had high hopes for this gel as I generally like Dermalogica products and their product ethos. Unfortunately I don't think purchasing this product would be justified given its price (I believe it retails somewhere between 43-55€ at the moment). Does this mean it doesn't work? No. I did notice a slight "plumping" effect and perhaps a milder discoloration, but not enough for me to splurge on this. I think it works pretty much like all other under eye products from the cheaper drugstore brands. The product feels pleasant on the skin and did not irritate or become dry. However, if you use too much product or don't let it absorb properly and go ahead and apply concealer over it (in my case Shape Tape) you WILL have pilling, and substantially so. I recommend using only the smallest amount and not going ahead with concealer if you feel even the most remote stickiness where you applied the gel. My personal recommendation for this still is: spoons or green tea bags in the fridge. Still works better than most other expensive options. Overall, an ok product. Not a miracle and probably too expensive unless you like to shell out $$$ for mediocre formulations.

I was allowed to test the Dermologica Awaken Peptide Eye Gel. I have been using this product for a little week @dermalogica now and am very satisfied with it. -The gel is transparent - Odorless - you only need a little bit and it absorbs quickly - it gives quite a long feeling of freshness where applied. The tube is not empty yet so I will continue to use this product and I'm probably going to buy it to add to my beauty routine. Highly recommended! 🍀

If I had tried this before, really brilliant result, there may be, as it says in the description, actually totally not expected, am not convinced quickly, but this product really great thank you for that.
