Aveda Thickening Tonic

I used it on m’y thin dull hairs and i for surprised by its use and volume of my hairs. Really if u are looking for instant volume for thin hairs then its best tonic solution .

I was given this try by a friend, im familiar to Aveda products, but I've never seen this product before. As I'm getting older hair is thinning out a bit, so I thought I would give it a try. To use it I sprayed the tonic on my hair from roots to ends, in sections and then combed my hair through. I proceeded to blow dry my hair and brushed it into the style I wanted. This product does show signs of making my hair look fuller. It expands the strands of hair, in order to make it look thicker. So I guess it does what it says. I would however use the product sparingly, as otherwise you can make your hair look claggy. The one main thing for me that let's this product down, is the smell. It really doesn't smell very nice in my opinion. It smells quite medicinal. I have mixed feelings about this product, so for that reason, its not for me and I wouldnt recommend it.

This product is great! I use it on wet hair, after washing. I have the idea that my hair really looks and feels thicker! The product doesn't take care of your hair any further, so I would take that into account. For my dry/curly hair, I always use a leave-in conditioner afterwards
