It has a minty taste I find what doesn't bother me at all my teeth are smooth when I run my tongue over it I quickly start toothpaste again.

I really like this product. It's a different color but the taste tastes like real toothpaste, I've certainly noticed a difference in my tooth color, if you use it twice a day, you'll see results! I would definitely recommend this one because few to no toothpastes are really like this one!
