Sebastian Professional Review Part 2: Elastic Cleanser for Curls So, already having addressed my biggest hair issues in Part 1, let's talk about why I loved these @SebastianProfessional products. I mentioned my shampooing issue. Because, I wash my hair once a week and I have intense product build-up by then, I need a good clarifying shampoo. Not only does this shampoo do a magnificent job of washing my hair from the very first wash, it also doesn't seem to over-dry my hair. And it also does a little something extra that I did not expect.. After washing, my hair feels light, bouncy, and voluminous. Something, I have not experienced with past shampoos. In the natural hair community, you don't usually see shampoos labeled as "volumizing". Why? Our hair is already pretty voluminous, why would we want even more volume? But, that's where I was wrong! After using these products a couple times, I noticed how bouncy my hair was and how much it flowed in the wind. It wasn't being weighed down and seemed to defy gravity! I never realized how I could benefit from some extra volume. One thing to note, this shampoo does use Sodium Laureth Sulfate. I do try to not use sulfates in my body washes or face soaps. Although, with washing my hair only once a week, I do think it is not a great inconvenience. I would most definitely use this product again!

Last month I was able to test this @SebastianProfessional shampoo. The structure of my hair is very dry so I was very curious what this shampoo would do for my hair. You don't need to use much of the product, it foams well and it smells good. Also, after washing my curls fall very naturally and not fluffy at all! I've always used the shampoo in combination with the conditioner, so I don't know if that's the case if you were only using the shampoo. The downside is that the shampoo is not silicone and sulphate free, so I don't know if it's very responsible to use the shampoo for a long time.

I was allowed to test this product a long time ago and because of childbirth my review was a bit behind. Well here's that so: D haha. I emptied the whole shampoo bottle. At first it didn't do much for my hair but the longer I kept using it (2x max in the week) the more I noticed that my hair was clean but it became very dry and therefore fluffy. I also allowed to test the @Sebastian Professional Twisted Curl Magnifier: Curl Creme (review follows) but this did not reverse the effect. Unfortunately, I won't get this shampoo again and continue to use my current favorite. Much love, Natasha
