Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm

Loveee this product, find it makes me lips look plump and moisturise, also there’a no tingling feeling like other plumping lip balms. I now carry it every where with me as it’s a must have to keep my lips moisturised. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5/5 as it doesn’t plump as much as other plumping lip balms. 

At first I was dubious about the results I had seen online regarding this product, however, I thought so would give it a try. I must say that my lips, which are often very dry are much more hydrated. I have been using the product for around 2 weeks now, as instructed for 3 times a day and my lips do look plumper and more full. I can’t wait to see the results after the 4 weeks.  Annoyingly I didn’t take a before picture. 

If, like me, you have thin lips, then you've possibly tried various lip plumping products with varying results. As a fan of The Inkey List products, I had seen that this was launching so was delighted to get the opportunity to review it and see if it stood up to the hype. The tube is quite small, containing 10ml of product but I'm finding a little goes a long way so it should last for quite a while, even using it the recommended three times a day. I use about a rice grain size on each lip and massage it in using the applicator tip. It can be used directly on the lips or over your lipstick of choice. My lips feel instantly hydrated and have a nice glossy look after application although the glossiness doesn't last that long after applying. There's no sticky feeling, and there's no tingling or discomfort like you can get with a lot of other plumping products. Having used this for a couple of months, I only noticed minor improvement to the fullness of my lips and that's probably just down to the hydrating properties of the product.I have some fine lines around my mouth so while I just use this on my lips during the day, in the evening I use it as a mask and also apply it to the skin immediately around my lips to see if it can help plump those out too, and these lines do look very slightly less pronounced already. Essentially it's a nice lip balm but I didn't get the plumping effects it claims to offer.
