Do not use too intensively in the beginning
I should probably have read more about the effects of retinol, because after using it 1-2 times a day without diluting, my whole face started to peel. Apparently, it's best to mix it with your day cream in the beginning, and only use it every few days to prevent this, and then “build up”. I can't say that the product does nothing, it was just a little too effective. I am now giving my face some rest before testing it in combination with my day cream (and taking some rest days in between).

Retinol serum
The dermatologist recommended that I use retinol in my care routine in the evening. Previously, I always used the paulas choice retinol booster but since it is fairly expensive, I looked for a replacement with the same amount of retinol percentage, which is why I ended up with this one. The retinol should work for my acne scars, but I don't see any difference yet. I do notice that my skin becomes smoother. You don't need much of this product, making it very economical. The downside of this product is that it leaves a greasy layer, which was not the case with Paula's choice. (so I'm going to go back to my old routine anyway)

Low retinol
There is too little retinol in this product as a percentage. Actually, this product does almost nothing for your skin and you can better go for something stronger, even if you are a beginner.

Too bad you didn't do any research or receive info at the store where you bought it or... You should indeed build up the use of retinol, because your skin has to get used to it. The advice I received was to drop a drop (!) apply every 2 days at the beginning and thus increase gradually. Of course, this depends on the Retinol value.
