Promising, but the smell is unfortunately not nice
When I open the package that contains the conditioner, I am immediately happy. What a beautiful package! Also in my favorite color: a modern shade of pink. Right away, I read the fine print on the back: 100% natural, vegan and cruelty free. Look, that makes you happy. A guilt-free beauty product. Impatient as I am, I want to smell it right away. At first, that also makes me happy. For me, a surprising new fragrance: Vanilla & Cedarwood. I was really looking forward to trying this conditioner. The product had been ogling me from the shower rack for a day. Today, the time had finally come. I first washed my hair with Schwarzkopf GLISS hair repair. And that was necessary, because I had heavily terrorized my hair with hairspray and gel before a shoot the days before. After washing my hair, it was the turn of the nourished conditioner. I took a large amount on my hand. Take a long time, I thought, treat yourself! I noticed right away that it was different from other conditioners. The structure is a lot stiffer. Where other conditioners feel more like shampoo but not with the same effect, this isn't as watery. The texture reminded me of a stiff hand cream. I apply sufficient amounts into my hair that is still wet, rinsed. Applying it felt like a mask. The smell that seemed really good to me at first suddenly made me really uncomfortable in this amount. I secretly hoped that after rinsing out, the smell lingered a little less. Too bad, because I always love the nice smell of freshly washed hair. That's why I think good smelling hair products is very important, that makes me so happy! Unfortunately, this conditioner isn't one of them. I then let my hair dry and it feels soft. That, in turn, is worth a plus. Although I also have other products that give the same effect, but with a nice scent. I have to say that I don't hate it so much that I want to wash my hair again. Once it has dried, the scent is much more subtle. I really enjoyed trying this product, but I wouldn't buy it myself. In addition, the product also appears to be expensive, I don't think it's worth it. If it did smell good, I would pay the full €24 for it. Or I would ask for it as a gift. Or give it away, because it looks really nice in the bathroom again. I also definitely think it's vegan. Unfortunately, it doesn't match the haircare products that I have myself, so I wouldn't switch. In fact, I wonder if I would use it again, or if I might give it away anyway. #nourishednewyear

Type of stale clay
Received this product for testing. First of all, the smell: not my favorite... a bit musty in my opinion. Personally, I'm more into a citrus scent and this isn't close to that. The substance is special, it comes close to clay, a type of playdoh, very strong so it doesn't spread nicely over my hair. I'm used to conditioners being soft and nice to lubricate. After showering and drying, my hair is fine. It is greasy again soon, after about 2/3 days. Not recommended for me.

Nourished | restore + repair conditioner
Nourished's restore + repair conditioner Vanilla & Cedarwood is something I find important in terms of brand and story. From packaging to ingredients, all free of harmful chemicals. When I read the product description, I think YES, but when I use it, I am unfortunately a bit disappointed. It is slightly watery and feels like you're putting some kind of cream into your hair that isn't meant for that. The scent isn't very present either and I don't really feel like it does anything good to my hair either. It won't do anything bad anyway, that's nice! But I wouldn't buy it again, unfortunately. Despite the fact that I would like to promote clean beauty products!
