Perfect Finish HD Powder

e.l.f. matte powder. I bought this product at the same time as the e.l.f. finishing spray because this brand is cruelty free and has a lot of vegan options, which I see come by with people who are really excited about it every time. I am also super satisfied with this product, especially when combined with the spray this is nice. I used Catrice's but I was looking for a powder that lasted longer on my oily skin. My makeup stays longer, my skin doesn't look cakey because of the powder and it blends nicely with my skin. This powder is very willing, as you can see, the beautiful thing is that it is white when you apply it but it is well blended with your own skin after a little 10min. I just remember that I haven't tried the powder with a photo/video with flash yet, so I have to check that myself. Of course, I don't want me to look like a corpse or see white spots. I am of course a white woman myself so I don't know what this powder is like on other skin tones, I hope it won't leave a grey/white faint and blend beautifully with the skin. I can't say that my skin/makeup really stays matte all day long, especially not on my forehead, I have to because I have an oily skin just occasionally powder but with this powder & spray that really doesn't have to! Whatever I said earlier, my skin doesn't look cakey/super matte, it's mostly that your skin looks beautiful and natural but the fat and oil of your skin just doesn't ruin your makeup quickly. What's also great is that you can bake with this powder because the powder is very fine in structure and is good to use. You don't need much, that surprised me above all. I think the look of this product looks really luxurious, especially when compared to Catrice's. It's also a very handy pack as it folds open giving you space under the powder for a powder down/sponge, which I just loved was that it wasn't included seems as convenient to me. -So if anyone knows where to find a fine powder down/sponge that I can put under it would be really great! Really recommended again, e.l.f. has beautiful products that work well while looking luxury and affordable. X Vonne

This is a fairly cheap powder but that certainly does not detract from the quality. It's simple, you don't need too much and do what it's supposed to do. However, this powder does not give me a WOW effect, which some other powders do. But if you are looking for a cheap, excellent powder, this is for you.

The powder gives a nice matte finish to your skin, something I like because I have quite a shiny skin. It's a compact size, it fits easily in your bag, and underneath the powder there's a space to store your sponge. There is little to no smell and occasionally leaves a bit of a whitish tint.
