Mascara Maybelline B3415500 Zwart

This mascara is great if you have natural curled lashes. For straight lashes like mine, it doesn’t lift them up as much as others I’ve tried before. It gives nice volume and separation. Just not enough curl, so it doesn’t honor its name.

Not Maybelline’s best to be honest. The packaging looks cute but that’s about it. It works but doesn’t give me a smooth fanned out effect like some of their other mascaras. Gets spidery quite easily. If you are looking for a long lasting curl just get the waterproof version of one of their good mascaras.

Oh boy oh boy, where do I start with this one Billed as a “waterproof” mascara that claims to give you colossal, bouncy lashes, it’s….. a no for me. I mean, it’s giving, but not colossal bouncy lashes. It’d anything, it gave raccoon, which is who I discover staring back at me in the mirror whenever I wear this. To give context: I wore this the first time, super excited because I bought it for £15 and all the reviews said it was amazing. Then, I heard some tragic news (cue the tears) and go to the bathroom to check on myself and… 👁🖤👄🖤👁 My face was not giving supermodel chic, it was giving panda, a raccoon. (Attached: my panda cosplay) Over time, as I’ve forced myself to use this, I’ve come to like the wand (separates the lashes nicely without looking spidery) but I still hate the formula. Easy to run and come off under any water except when I’m trying to take it off, and this mf will not come off my skin for days 🥲🥲 and perhaps it’s just me, but I feel as though this mascara can only do your eyelashes justice off you curl them with a lash curler first, otherwise it’s not very impressive. That said, once they’ve been curled, they do at least hold their curl (as long as you stay 6ft away from water and moisture) but then again, you can get that effect with other waterproof mascaras that are 1/3 of the price. I’d describe this as my first ever “pricey” mascara purchase (bearing in mind that I’m someone that uses a £3 mascara atm) and…. it put me off from buying any other expensive mascara because ya girl doesn’t have the disposable income to be experimenting 😔😔😔 TL:DR ; doesn’t do what it says, nice wand but not worth the price.
