Hada Labo Tokyo™ Gezichtsmasker Set (8 sheet masks)

Oh wow - this mask drenches your skin with moisture leaving it soft, plump and hydrated for days afterwards… my skin has never felt so good! Will definitely treat my skin to these routinely. I bought this and the anti aging sheet masks. I did them at night before bed and my skin looked amazing..... I'm buying more!

The Hada Labo Tokyo mask is a nice addition to the entire cosmetics line of this brand. The sheet itself is of very good quality, it can be adjusted well thanks to three cuts on each side of the face. It is well soaked, there is not a huge excess of liquid, which is convenient. The liquid itself is also more gel-like, so it does not spill when extracting from the package. The mask does not dry in the recommended 15 minutes, so you can hold it a bit longer. After removal, it leaves a gel coating that soaks in medium. I like this effect, I close it with cream and that's enough at the end of the day for my skin.  Benefits: - moisturizes very well,  - gives a feeling of comfort, relief for the skin, - the sheet is thoroughly soaked, - does not irritate my skin

Being given the opportunity to test products from the No 1 Japanese skincare brand, Hada Labo was something in exchange for my honest opinion was really appealing, especially with their anti ageing properties. As a brand, they promise ultra-hydrating, minimalist products backed by science with a focus on intense hydration and strengthening the skin barrier for a soft, plump, glowy complexion. Their Anti Ageing Sheet Mask is what they class as a ‘Red Line’ product. These products are enriched in collagen especially for mature skin over 40 and are completely interchangeable with their other products. The mask contains their ‘Super Hyaluronic Acid’ patented blend of 4 types of Hyaluronic Acid with different molecular weights allowing the smaller ones to go deeper into the skin whilst the larger ones lock all the extra moisture in. Add to this collagen, soy peptides and Vitamin E and you have the base for a great anti ageing skin product which should, over time, help to rehydrate the skin and improve its elasticity and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Usage directions are 1-3 times per week for best results and leave on for 15 minutes. It can be a night or day but I have used weekly at night and they leave my skin feeling lovely and refreshed. Unlike other masks I have used, these are really easy to apply, the mask fits perfectly, first time, and stays put with no slippage. It’s very comfortable to use. The other thing that is very noticeable is it has far less excess serum than other masks so doesn’t drip or leave my skin feeling sticky when it is removed. It is fragrance free but does have a very slight clinical smell, nothing too bad it’s just about noticeable. As with all Hada Labo products, it is great for acne prone and sensitive skin and free from parabens, dyes and gluten. I am using these as a regular part of my routine now. This is premium Japanese skincare which absolutely works at a fantastic price.
