Fenty Beauty - Stunna Lip Paint

Dry as the desert
I really like matte lipsticks, big fan, but this one dries the lips so much. And what's weirder is that it doesn't even stay on the lips like I expected which doesn't make sense why would it be so dry and still transfer to the cup of coffee I'm having. Mistery to me

lacking precision and longevity
Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint has left me thoroughly disappointed, earning a regrettable one-star rating in my beauty arsenal. Despite the brand's reputation for inclusivity and innovative products, this particular lip paint fell short on several crucial fronts, making it a regrettable purchase. To start, the packaging is both stylish and functional, featuring a sleek design with a unique applicator. However, the applicator's pointed shape, while seemingly innovative, poses a challenge during application. The lack of precision makes it difficult to achieve clean lines, resulting in a messy and frustrating process. This flaw is a significant drawback for those who value a seamless and controlled lipstick application. The formula of the Stunna Lip Paint is where the disappointment deepens. While marketed as a long-wearing liquid lipstick with intense pigment, the reality is far from the promise. The consistency is thin and watery, making it tricky to apply evenly. The formula tends to emphasize lip texture and settle into fine lines, creating an unflattering and uneven appearance. While the initial application may appear vibrant, the color tends to oxidize and darken over time, altering the shade from the promised hue. This inconsistency in color payoff is frustrating, especially for those who expect the lipstick to maintain its true color throughout wear. Staying power is a major letdown with this lip paint. Despite claims of long-lasting wear, I found myself needing frequent touch-ups throughout the day. The formula easily transfers onto cups, clothes, and even the slightest brush against the lips, leading to a constant need for reapplication. This lack of durability is a significant drawback for those seeking a low-maintenance lip product. The Stunna Lip Paint also falls short in the comfort department. The formula feels drying on the lips, emphasizing any dry patches and contributing to an uncomfortable, parched sensation. This lack of hydration is particularly disappointing, as it contradicts the expectation of a lip product from a brand known for catering to diverse skin types and tones. While the Stunna Lip Paint line boasts an array of shades, the limited versatility in undertones may not cater to everyone. Some shades may appear more flattering on certain skin tones, limiting the inclusivity of the product. In conclusion, Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint failed to live up to the high standards set by the brand. The issues with application, formula consistency, staying power, and comfort make it a regrettable purchase in my beauty collection. I would caution potential buyers to consider these drawbacks before investing in this particular product from the Fenty Beauty line.

high pigment
The Liquid Lipsticks from fenty are very pigmented, so you have high coverage with very little product. In addition, the wearing comfort is very pleasant. I would still recommend a lip balm because it is matte.
