Fine self tanner for your face. I use this product about every other day for a beautiful glow and to look browner in my face. Since I use a BHA product (salicylic acid exfoliant) in the evening (every other day), I have to reapply this product the morning after. This reduces the brown effect of the face tan water. You apply the face tan water to a cotton ball and go all over your face. The instructions say that the amount should be such that you can see a layer on your skin. I tried this at first, but your skin tends to look orange. It is better to apply a little less for a subtle effect. You should be careful that you distribute the product evenly. It takes about 4-6 hours for you to see full results. The color builds naturally and gradually. The scent is very tasty: it smells like roses. Furthermore, I often get compliments on how smooth and glowy my skin looks like when I used this self tanner. Unfortunately, the product is not cheap (€28.95), but it takes a very long time. I think it's worth the money at least!

Not my favorite

I used several products from Bali body and even for self-tanning. However, I do not prefer this product. I often got the comment that I had spots on my face and you can easily forget parts in your neck or near your ear. Overall, it is a great way of self-tanning, but I think there are much better products to get better results.

Review | Bali Body face tan water Okeeee, about the bali body brand is always a big fuss. Immense promotion of their products on their instagram page. In addition to being incredibly popular for their self-tanning oil, they have also become known for their self-tan range. So the face tan water is a kind of micellar water that you smear on face. I use frequent fake tan myself and you normally smear the remaining fake tan that sits on your tanning mitt on your face. So I did get blockages and hence pimples. The fake tan clogged me pores. Fortunately, this fake tan water made for your face does not hide pores. They name all sorts of skin benefits from fake tan water but ultimately it's about whether the fake tan water does. I think the fake tan water of bali body certainly does it and it doesn't give me any blockages in my face. The smell of the water is a bit strange, not unpleasantly perse but it has quite a chemical floral scent. I also think that if you spray the water onto your cotton pad, some water drops end up on your hands holding the cotton pad. This gives you all orange fake tan spots on your hand, rather unpleasant. So you really need to gently spray the product onto your cotton pad. As well as the product works, the colour is not as extremely strong. I feel like you need to smear multiple layers on your face to get a dark cover. It also sometimes seems like the color is a little orange. And what I really think is a major disadvantage, and a huge disappointment, is that the colour doesn't get away evenly. After a few days when the colour fades, you get that patchy/blotchy fake tan stains on your face and forehead mainly. So it doesn't fade evenly or evenly but you get all sorts of spots on your face. You'll also see a line near your ear where a part is really light (your own skin tone) and a fake tan line. This really makes you see the fake tan you used well. It's a pity because I haven't had this with other fake tan brands. You also need to remove the fake tan completely from your face, otherwise you will get uneven color distribution due to those blotchy spots on your face. I am rather sorry because on instagram they promote all kinds of shiny, even and hydrated facial complexes that would be achieved through their fake tan water. In reality, you quickly get uneven colour distributions by applying the product at all. If you smear it on your face, you can get more dark colors in a number of places than in other places. So you really get spots on your face during application and when it fades. After all, I keep using it only because of the fact that it doesn't clog my skin, but if I find a better thing, I'm off! So the result you see on all those (clearly sponsored) instagram posts isn't the result you get.
