JOHN FRIEDA
Detox & Repair Shampoo

Nice but not what I thought
This is a nice shampoo. It smells lovely, like a tea tree type smell. Very clean and not overpowering. It fathers well and does leave hair in nice condition. What I don't like about this shampoo is the detox claim. I bought this thinking it was on the side of being a deep cleansing shampoo however it isn't. It takes two washes for my hair to feel clean and it's clear it coats your hair in some way. This being said, my hair looks and feels good after it and I've used it a few weeks now with no issues. I wouldn't buy it again but will definitely finish the bottle.

Nice fragrance, ok results
Great looking product although I do think that the bottle itself isn't the best for dispensing the conditioner, I imagine it'll be hard to get it all out once I'm finished with it. It is quite thick in consistency and has a beautiful fragrance to it. I got this in the hopes that it would help improve the look of my damaged ends and help against further damage. Honestly I have seen no difference in using this conditioner and I love John feieda products. I've tried using it as the instructions advise and I've also tried leaving it on for a while but it didn't really make any difference apart from making the fragrance smell stronger in my hair. My hair didn't feel any softer and my hair still breaks and looks damaged, I have used other products in the John frieda range and found they have worked better for me. I would recommend this as a general everyday conditioner, but not for any drastic improvement to dry and damaged hair.

Residue
I tried this to help my itching scalp. I was given the impression that it would really clean my hair of all the build up of product over time. However, after washing and blow drying my hair, I was left with a residue that had not washed out and it made my hair look as if it needed washing again. I would not use this product again
