Budget proof vitamine c variant 🍊

For a few weeks I have been using a vitamin c booster of the every morning . Honestly, I have a little doubt if this product really does what my skin does. At least I haven't noticed any of it (28 years). My sixty mother-in-law certainly does what to do for her skin! Her face feels a little tighter since she used the booster;) However, I find the idea of spreading vitamin c on your skin interesting and will certainly continue with it. Not sure if I will buy this serum again, but it is a budget proof variant đŸ‘đŸ» It feels a bit like a thin gel substance (tends to water), easy to lubricate and absorbs quickly. Feels great on my skin. It smells like nothing! Convenient to apply with a pipette.

No effect on skin, waste of money...

Last I receive this product from the to test, very nice! As I wrote back then, I wouldn't buy this product that fast myself. However, I was very curious and had a lot of questions. In the meantime, I have used the product for about 2 weeks and did some research, so here's my review. What I was wondering right away when I received the product is how you use it. Daily? Before or after using cream? The package says that you need to clean your face first and then apply 4-6 drops of booster. If necessary, you can mix the booster with your cream. I used the booster both morning and evening to apply my cream. The product absorbs quickly, so this was fine to do. What I was wondering is why I would use this product. According to Vitaminstore, “it reduces visible signs of ageing and helps to fade existing wrinkles and lines”. Okay, since I'm almost 30 and I'm starting to get a few lines, this sounded attractive... However, I wanted to know more about this and went on research. I always like dermatologist Jetske Ultee's blog for background information. So I searched her blog for information about vitamin C in skin care. I found the following: Vitamin C really improves the skin. It stimulates collagen production and can reduce acne and pigment spots. It is also an antioxidant that can limit UV damage. All sounds great! But, now it comes, there are a number of conditions: - Vitamin C only works in high concentrations of at least 4% - Vitamin C works best in other antioxidants, such as vitamin E - Vitamin C is very unstable and can withstand moisture, light and oxygen very badly. This oxidizes vitamin C and makes it less effective. The Vitamin C Booster does not contain pure vitamin C, but certain fruit and plant extracts that would be rich in vitamin C. I don't really think it achieves the high concentration of at least 4% vitamin C. And even if this amount was achieved, the vitamin C would oxidize by getting into contact with light (through the glass bottle), oxygen (through the pipette) and moisture (because the bottle is in my bathroom) and no longer work. Honestly, after 2 weeks of testing, I do feel like the product is not doing anything. It feels nice to smear on your face, but I don't notice any difference on my skin. I am going to give away the product and no longer use it myself. All in all I wouldn't recommend this product, a waste of money I would say. Prefer to spend your money on products that have proven to have good effects on your skin;)

Thanks @ [charlotte11] (charlotte11) for your comprehensive review! Here are our answers and feedback:) The booster can be used every day and is specifically intended for days when your skin needs a boost. This can be during the winter season, for example, when you have tired skin due to stress or poor sleep, or, for example, when you go out for a night (if that's okay later;)). You apply the booster before applying the cream or you can indeed mix it with the cream. There are indeed care products that contain a higher percentage of vitamin C, but the products in the Vitamin C Beauty line are much more than just the percentage of vitamin C. In addition to vitamin C, the booster also contains a complete composition of other active ingredients that have a strong synergistic effect with each other and with vitamin C. The effect of the beauty line therefore not only comes from vitamin C, but is also the effect of other active substances. In addition, the patent was clinically tested using 2 different amounts of patents and thus different doses of vitamin C. An optimal effect is already achieved at the highest tested dose of 0.02% and we have chosen to add much more than that to the booster, namely 1.5% vitamin C (the night cream, day cream and serum contain 1% vitamin C). It doesn't seem like much, but it's already 75 times more than what was used in the study. After all, we want to achieve more than the optimal effect than what was achieved during the research. But in order to also keep the product affordable for the customer, it was decided to keep the percentage of vitamin C at 1.5% (and 1% in the other products). After all, a patent is expensive and if we want a higher percentage of vitamin C, the price of the product will also increase. It is true that Vitamin C in cosmetic products in the form of ascorbic acid has a certain degree of instability. This means that the effect is quickly lost. That is why we deliberately chose the HerbaProtectÂź NOX patent because, among other things, it guarantees the stability of the vitamin C. In addition, the booster and the other care products in the beauty line come in a dark glass jar (day cream and night cream with a pump) to protect against light. The booster is indeed intended to help fade fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin elasticity, but especially to protect against delayed skin damage from the sun. By the way, we do not claim that you will experience a noticeable effect on wrinkles or lines within 2 weeks. However, within 2 weeks, you can see if your skin responds well to a care product. For good results, a care product such as a booster or cream needs to be lubricated longer. If you have any questions regarding our answers and feedback, we would of course love to hear them. Greetings, Vitamin Store!

My first booster

Yay I get to test another product! Yesterday I received this Vitamin C Booster from Vitaminstore. Actually, I wouldn't buy this product so fast, but I'm curious! I'm right all of the questions I'll try to find answers to during testing: - what is a booster really and why should you use it? What is, for example, the added value of a good cream? - when to use it? Invv a cream? Before applying the cream? - The booster would protect the skin from 'delayed UV rays damage'. What does that mean? Is it some kind of sunburn? And is this scientifically proven? Maybe you've already tried him and all tips for me how to use this? At least I'm going to test him in the coming weeks so I can write a good review! 🙂
