Salicylic Acid 2% Masque

This masque pales in comparison to the AHA BHA solution from the same brand. Just buy that. This stuff leaves black in my pores. It does work - but that's just as likely to be from the exfoliation needed to get all the black off!

I mainly have acne on my chin. After my idea, this mask really helps to prevent acne and ensures that the acne I have is not that severe (no inflammation). However, you should be careful with this mask. It has strong ingredients so I really stick to the recommended instructions. I also only use the mask on my chin, nose and forehead, because that's where I have acne and it's best to dry out. So then also apply a moisturizer.

I've been suffering from (hormonal) acne for years and tried a lot. The Ordinary Salicylic Mask is a product that finally works! I still have acne, but pimples quickly become less visible and my skin looks smoother. I use the mask up to 10 minutes once a week, because it contains strong ingredients and I don't want to make my skin extra sensitive. The mask can dry out your skin, so I only use it on acne areas and then I always apply a good moisturizer. But that doesn't change the fact that this is one of the first products that really does something good for my acne. Recommended? Yes!
