Organic Day Cream

Hi babes, Always fun to test a new product! This time it was the Organic Day Cream from @abloom.skincare. I wasn't familiar with the brand yet but vegan and cruelty free is always a plus! I've been using the day cream for over two weeks now and I've been able to conclude the following: It has a strong scent, which personally reminds me a lot of essential oils from the spa. Somewhere I find this to have something even though I can imagine it can be quite intense for many people, especially because the smell persistently for a while. The formula is rather thin, but with application it goes pretty crude which makes me inclined to use a lot of the product. Once it's retracted, my skin feels something on the dry side, but it's cold outside and inside the heater is on. Furthermore, it really gives a healthy glow! For the rest, my skin hasn't gotten worse or better on it, so I have a little mixed feelings about the product. The thing that bothers me the most, I think it felt awkward when applying. Briefly summarized: + Smells good + Healthy glow + Organic & cruelty free - Smell may be strong for some - Strig during application - Pretty pricey +- No visible improvement or deterioration of skin

@abloom.skincare Eerste indruk: Mooie verpakking, geen vervelende geur. Ruikt niet heel lekker maar ook niet vies. Beetje plantjesgeur. Smeert goed uit niet plakkerig. Voelt direct heel zacht op de huid. Na de dagcreme ongeveer 2 weken te hebben gebruikt kan ik nu een goede review geven. Ik ben tevreden over deze creme. Voor een "organic" product ook heel netjes geprijsd voor de hoeveelheid die je krijgt. Ik heb geen nare reacties op mijn huid gehad wat ik met veel andere crèmes wel heb. Mijn huid is juist heel zacht en gaaf voor mijn doen. De geur is wel echt even iets anders. Je moet er wel tegen kunnen. Het blijft gelukkig niet heel lang hangen. Je hebt niet veel nodig dus je kan er goed lang mee doen. Zou ik deze nogmaals aanschaffen? Ja ik denk het wel. Ik ben al een tijdje op zoek naar een budgetproof dagcreme die geschikt is voor de gevoelige huid en cruelty free is. Zou ik hem aanraden? Ja en nee, als je gewend bent aan een lekker geurtje in je cremes zit is deze creme niet voor jou, maar is dat voor jou geen issue dan zou ik hem zeker aanraden!

I've tried this day cream in different ways for a few weeks now. Below are the pros and cons I noticed: Benefits: + Beautiful hygienic bottle, so the product will last a little longer + It's a concentrated formula, there's a lot of good in it just a small pump + Organic + It absorbs well, lasts fifteen minutes but it doesn't “shake” during the day Cons: - They don't use preservatives except denatured alcohol, there's a huge amount of alcohol in it when I look at the order of the ingredients. But I also notice it when lubricating the cream, I have sensitive skin and this sometimes really just burns... Then I'd rather have preservatives that aren't “organic” but much better for your skin... - There's a lot of perfume in it too, now that's not the worst problem because a lot of people can handle it, but I would definitely be careful with sensitive skin! - The scent is rather intense and when it rains and your face gets wet again, you suddenly smell it again... - For 50ml you pay 86 euros (!) - It's hard to spread and I had to use 2 to 3 pumps to smear my face once... - With no water added to the formula, it is difficult to combine with, for example, water-based hyaluron serums. Because it doesn't mix well, your cream will “turn” off during the day. Coupled with Miracle Treatment Oil from Abloom: + It's much easier to smear (1 pump of cream and 1 pump of oil is enough) + The oil makes your cream less violent and my skin suddenly can tolerate it much better - It really shines your face so it can only be used in the evening Conclusion: The bad outweight the good, by far! I think this brand is far too much to ask for an 'okay' product, it must be because all the ingredients are organicly sourced, but your skin deserves a little more than this product can give me.
