Felt good but not sure if it's for me
I used this once a week it made my hair feel clean and lush but for some reason my hair started to fall out. Which I never had before I stopped useing it for 4 weeks and my hair is not coming out. I'm gutted as it felt amazing. I think I may try it again as I'm hoping it was just my hair we will soon tell if it's the shampoo or me. Fingers crossed 🤞 Anyone else had this experience?

Hair nightmare
I had been contemplating Olaplex for a while as my stylist had used it on my hair following a head of foils and my hair had felt amazing. I ordered the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner and incorporated this in to my routine, I only wash my hair 2 and sometimes 3 times per week. For context I have long (midway down my back), dark blonde with bleach blonde highlights throughout, quite thick, straight hair. My hair has always been quite strong and generally in good condition. I loved the feel of the shampoo, a small amount goes a long way, lathered well and felt quite sumptuous, it left my hair feeling squeaky clean. The conditioner was super thick and felt rather luxurious going through my hair. My comb glided through my hair whilst wet, and once dried, my hair felt really silky. Fast forward 4 weeks, I and noticed that my hair was shedding in vast amounts and no longer feeling soft and silky after washing. By week 5 my hair was falling out in handfuls in the shower and my comb and brush were covered in sheaths of hair after brushing. The only thing that had changed in any of my routines including toiletries used and diet was the inclusion of the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner so I figured that my hair falling out must have been linked to this. I discontinued use of these two products after week 5, although it took a further 3 weeks for the shedding to stop. Due to having thicker hair, it was not overly noticeable that I had lost so much hair to other people, however I could feel the difference myself. I had never experienced hair loss prior to using these products, nor have I experienced this since discontinuing these, however it is something that I have researched and found thousands of others that have been affected by this. I no longer pay the extra charge for an Olaplex treatment at the salon due to this experience, as I refuse to have this product on my hair again. I was so upset as this was something I had been super excited to try, and having paid out a small fortune for the products I was left sorely disappointed.

Super
I've been using this shampoo and conditioner for a month now and it feels really good. My hair was very dry from dyeing. I use a very small pea and that is enough for my medium length hair. Now when I blow dry my hair after washing, it is much less frizzy than before. So I think it's a great shampoo and conditioner for frizzy dry hair.

Yes. Read the reviews and ask Prof Google 😆 you’re not alone with this problem.
