Medik8 Crystal Retinal 10

Really great eye cream. Applies well and absorbs quickly into the skin. Does not irritate at all. Nice consistency when applied and you don't need to use a lot of product so a little will go a long way. It looks slightly yellow but does not leave any colour or residue on the skin.

This retinal is extremely good helped transform the surface of my skin,pores seemed smaller and even the redness seemed to subside, you only need a pea size amount, leave to sink into the skin and finish with a good moisturiser, I noticed a difference in the appearance and the feel of my skin within two weeks, I am definitely purchasing this again.

I started using Retinols around a year ago but found even the more ‘gentle’ products too harsh resulting in breakouts and dry/inflamed areas on my face. I have combination skin and suffer from hormonal breakouts so struggle to find products that get the balance right. I did a bit of research and saw that Medik8 had some great reviews - the key difference being the active ingredient Retinal which is more effective than Retinol (it’s claimed to work up to 10x faster than Retinol) but doesn’t cause the purging which was the main draw for me. It is on the more expensive side but totally worth it - I’ve had so many compliments since I started using it a few weeks ago.
