MAC Retro Matte Lipstick

Hi ladies! Given the fact that the holidays are coming up, it seemed nice to share some red lip favorites with you. A red lipstick is an essential for me and I catch myself buying a new red lipstick again, despite the fact that I already have about 10 (oops..). 1. M.A.C. Costmetics Ruby Woo - wonderfully matte, you don't actually notice it's on your lips. It stays in place for a fairly long time and updating is minimal when eating/drinking/talking. 2. Makeup Revolution Satin Liquid - also a matte, but with a light shine liquid lipstick. There are various colors that you can use for every day but a nice red color that lasts for a long time seems nice to have! 3. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - the so-called butter cream for your lips! It is easy to apply, because the brush is not too big or too small. It feels soft on the lips and stays (again) for a long time and you don't have to reapply too often. 4. Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Paint on Liquid Lipcolor - this is a bit more fluid than the usual lipstick but it is a fine product to use. However, it is not very long on your lips and you will have to reapply it more often. It does feel nice, a little bit of sticky does and therefore it is not matte either. 5. Chanel Rouge Coco - if you want to pamper yourself with a red lipstick, this is a classic item to have. I add this because I've always read good reviews and say honestly, a red Chanel lipstick is something you want right?? :) Take a look around and dare! Pay attention to the color tone, with a blue, orange or pink undertone that fits well with your own skin type!

Still, the most classic red lipstick I've ever tried... for a lipstick it stays pretty good too. It's pretty matt and you don't have to update it often. Perfect for an occasion.

I love the MAC lipsticks always like the colors so much. I have the color Ruby woo on this. I bought it once in the Christmas special with the lipstick lip pencil and lipglose that last I never actually use. The colour red radiates a little feminine anyway.
