Wonderblading Lip Stain

I recently tried the wonderskin lip stain after being tempted through some adverts on my Facebook.  I purchased the colour ‘divine’ (pictured) which is a beautiful ruby red colour. The application feels slightly messy but once the masque is washed/peeled off it leaves a lovely vibrant lip stain which does not transfer. I wore this during a 5-course NYE meal and there was ZERO fade even 4-5 hours after application.  The reason it only gets 4 stars is that it will unfortunately ‘stick’ to any slightly dry areas on your lips and this can cause the colour deposition to look patchy in certain areas. I still found I was experiencing this even after exfoliating and thoroughly moisturising my lips. This can be improved slightly by using a lip gloss topper.

I myself now own 2 colors: XOXO and Lovely. I have light skin and the colors are quite intense. Even if you opt for seemingly milder colors. It's fun to apply the lip stain and see how a beautiful color magically comes out from underneath. But if you brush off the blue, I often see the shortcomings in myself as well. If you have imperfections in the skin on your lip due to skin or dryness due to the weather, for example, you will soon get a somewhat spotty result. From a distance, the result is still good. And as the product promises, it won't deliver! But does it stay in place all day? Not for me... but for a party, it's ideal.

I expected this to be one of the best products ever, if the stories are to be believed. Unfortunately, this is not true. To get a beautiful, even complexion on your lips, you'll really have to toil for a long time. I think you can apply this in two ways, but I use the method without an activator. You should rub your lips very thoroughly with the product and make sure you really spread it out. Let it soak in and then wipe off your lips. Be careful with this because it also stains my lips. If you have distributed everything properly, you will have a beautiful, even complexion. However, you should really use a gloss with this because your lips will be incredibly dry. It stays in place well.
