Overhyped product
Sadly this product does not work for me as a sleeping mask. I wake up with dry lips. It is a good lip balm that you can use continually during the day. It is not greasy and smells and tastes nice but not different from a decent drugstore lip balm that you carry on your purse all the time.

Laneige - worth it?
I had such great expectations for this product that I think I over hyped it in my brain. In reality, it doesn’t do wonders for my lips like everyone says it does. Yes it’s a good lip balm, but as a sleeping mask I wake up to still dry lips so I will not be restocking.

Nice, works, but not revolutionary
I bought this because it had thousands of positive reviews online, and was after something I could specifically put on my lips overnight (not just an anytime balm) It's a sticky consistency, but it comes with a spatula which is very handy to use when your putting it on. Only thing with this is then the tool gets sticky so you need to clean it regularly. It does feel nice on your lips, and you wake up with smoother lips- but it more just feels like a lot of oils, and hydrating ingredients. Whilst I know this is the main point of lip balms, for the price I hoped it would have a stronger reparative effect. If your lips are incredibly chapped and broken, this won't work too well. It definitely works, but I'm not sure its quite worth the price. My carmex gives me the same effect in the morning
