Strong effect, especially if you let the shampoo soak in for a while. I would recommend using the conditioner as well. I sometimes feel like it will make my hair dry otherwise. I use the shampoo myself for the wash and no longer suffer from yellow glow over my hair, even a bit of an ash grey idea.

I used Andrelon's purple shampoo for a while until I tried it in combination with the conditioner. I like it very much and I don't need to use much to wash my hair. I'm afraid to say how much I notice the difference in the yellow glow in my hair, but more than I had with the Andrelon shampoo.
