Detox Shampoo

This shampoo does exactly what it’s supposed to. I wash my hair once or sometimes twice per week, using a lot of dry shampoo and hair spray in between washes. This shampoo removes all build up of products and leaves your hair feeling nice and clean before you wash with your moisturising shampoos and conditioners.

This shampoo is a game changer. It cleans dirt and oils  and leaves you a very clean & fresh feeling. It removes bacteria and build up that can block pores. So it’s very important to use a detox shampoo, I use it once or twice a week because using a detox shampoo  too much can have adverse effects. Using this shampoo more than a couple of times per week can leave your hair feeling dry and dull. You may also see some flyaways and a lot of frizz. I  thought I would not like the smell like most of the brands I have tried in detox shampoo but this one is great and it works I  can already see a difference in the seabum and buildup I had from hard water so I highly recommend.  Those of you who have semi-permanent extensions or long/thick hair know how much of a hassle it is to wash it more than three times a week. With all of these factors, I noticed my hair starting to get really greasy/dirty looking fast, and my boyfriend started commenting on it not smelling very fresh. I was also getting really itchy scalp - gross, I know. I tried Ouai detox shampoo on a whim as it was included in a sample from Sephora. During the first use, I noticed how well it lathered up with a soft feel that didn't weigh my hair down. It rinsed out easily and I followed it with a conditioner specifically for extensions. After blow drying, my hair felt totally clean and soft without looking dry or stripped. It looked shinier and fresher for longer AND the itchy scalp stopped. I bought the full-sized product before even finishing the sample!  

I have fine hair, but there is so much of it that it appears really thick. My hair comes down to my mid back. I wash my hair once a week, shampooing twice, this leaves my hair squeaky clean, smelling gorgeous and extremely manageable, even with just a small amout. The bottles are also refillable which makes them more eco friendly.
