Clarins Velvet Cleansing Milk

Pleasant cleansing milk. I use this milk in the evening to remove makeup. Massage a little milk onto the skin (I also take the eyes with me) with a little water. Wipe off with a clean washcloth or cleaning service. The skin feels clean and not pulling.

▪ ︎ ▪ ︎ ▪ ︎ REVIEW ▪ ︎ ▪ ︎ ▪ ︎ A few weeks ago I @clarins received the package of two beautiful products to test. Unfortunately, due to an extremely violent allergic reaction, I had to postpone the testing. Meanwhile, my skin is calm again and I started testing 🧖🏽‍♀️. The product description indicates that the Velvet Cleansing Milk removes makeup, pollution, talf and dead skin cells. Normally, when cleaning my face, I prefer a foam or gel product. This is mainly because in the past I felt that milk products didn't have my skin completely clean after cleansing. Especially if I wanted to take off my facial makeup, like foundation and powder. So I was also very curious (a.k.a. critical 🙈) about how this facial cleanser would work. To my surprise, this milk cleans very well. The product has a fine but not predominant scent. When you massage the product onto the skin, it feels soft. What other facial cleansing products can sometimes feel aggressive, I feel that this milk gently cleans your skin well. On days when I wore makeup, there were spots where my skin wasn't fully cleansed. These were mostly the edges of my face. Of course, I wonder if this is no longer due to my cleaning skills 💁🏽‍♀️. My forehead and cheeks were really clean when I was with a tonic cotton pad (which was often not the case with other milk products). My over all experience of this cleansing milk is very positive!! It is very fine and tender to the skin while it cleans the skin well.

Hello loves, I'll be back after a while! I was outside the Netherlands for a little while and came back to a super fun package of Clarins to test out. My skin is usually dry but nowadays I notice that my skin is quite oily. This is the Velvet Cleansing Milk. Step 1 of the 2 Step Plan Cleaning. 🧖‍♀️ It removes makeup, pollution, dead skin cells and sebum. Because your skin is well cleansed, the product also ensures that skin care products are better absorbed by the skin. 👍 I like the product smell, it doesn't have a very strong smell for me personally. I like that! I also notice that my skin feels really clean and refreshed after use. 👎 I don't really have a minus point for this product. I don't use Cleansing Milks often because I don't find them useful.
