Makes hair sticky, stiff and crunchy.
Quite easy to apply; just spray in your hair. But, I really don't like this heat protectant, because it feels like a hair spray; it makes hair sticky and brushing is impossible afterwards. I like my curly hair to be soft and bouncy, and not stiff and crunchy. It just doesn't feel protecting at all.. Would absolutely not recommend.

Good protection, with a small caveat
I was really curious about the CHI 44 Iron Guard Heat Protection Spray and have been using it for a while now. Overall, I'm quite happy with its operation! My hair definitely feels protected when styling with heat tools. It seems to be less damaged and stays healthy longer. What I really like is that the spray doesn't make my hair heavy. It stays fluffy and gets a nice shine. However, there is one thing I am a little less pleased about: the amount of spray that comes out. It is sometimes just a little too much, which makes my hair quite wet. This takes a little extra time to dry before I can continue styling. If you're looking for a good heat protection spray, the CHI 44 Iron Guard is definitely worth considering. It does what it promises and protects your hair from the heat of styling tools. Just keep in mind that you may need to experiment a bit with the amount of spray you use to prevent your hair from getting too wet.

Unfortunately, I am not very satisfied with this heat protect spray. Although it does protect my hair against heat, I notice that my hair no longer feels so fluffy after use. Instead, it feels stiff and tangles more quickly. My hair seems heavier and less supple, which doesn't make styling easier. It was worth trying, but I'm not sure if I'll keep using this product.
