Works great on dull skin
This product worked great for me to revive my dull and dry skin. The dander disappears (slowly with prolonged use!) and more color is coming back instead of the dull and gray complexion I used to have. It stung a bit at first though. I recommend testing the product in an area such as the inside of your elbow, for example.

BHA exfoliant Balea
A super nice and, above all, affordable exfoliant from Balea. Balea is the DM store's own brand. A large drugstore that you can find in Germany and Austria, among others. This BHA exfoliant should bear the brunt of the Paula's Choice variant, but it's a lot cheaper (it costs less than €10). I have no experience with PC so I can't compare it, but I can definitely recommend this one from Balea if you are still looking for a well-functioning exfoliant. I use it 1/2 times a week and it makes my skin nice and clean, looks calmer and I notice that my skin tone has also become a bit smoother. It is oily, which I don't like, but if you apply a day cream or moisturizer over it afterwards, the greasy oil layer goes away. For that €8, it's definitely worth trying out. And a shopping trip to the DM is always fun, isn't it 😉

Dm haul! Review 1: Balea liquid peeling 2% ⭐️
I also got the HYPE about Balea from the DM in Germany! ‼️ And be ready 4 a lot of reviews ‼️ Well... my mom decided to take a trip to Aachen on Saturday, the ultimate opportunity for me to accompany her on a nice Balea laundry list! So she walked out with a bag full of skincare, and was only 60 euros lighter. Very impressive if you ask me! But are the products as impressive as their price tag 🙃? Well, the popular Liquid Peeling 2% BHA, which would actually be an identical brunt of the famous Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Exfoliant. I used this exfoliant for a long period of time (somewhere in 2015 to 2018). It was my holy grail. Yes, I've been heavily addicted to this exfoliant! I quit due to pregnancy in 2018, and I actually haven't picked it up anymore. And I've experienced firsthand that you should always use an SPF when you get started with such products. My face burned. Long story short 😂. But now Balea's peeling!? 🍶 Nice design, 125 ml for E5.99. Very cheap. Alcohol/ Fragrance/Essential Oils-free. And a bottle of 100% recyclable material. These points are already sublime! ⭐️ The peeling is suitable for combination/oily skin with pimples, blackheads, enlarged pores and redness. Removes dead skin cells adequately. I name the ingredients as they are in the Balea Peeling. The ph value is 3.5-4.0. In any case, the peel certainly contains some of the same ingredients as PC (propanediol, water, salicyclic acid, green tea leaf extract, sodium hydroxide), although Balea has 6 ingredients and PC 9. Are they coming! ⭐️ Propanediol: hydrates and softens. It is made from corn and also acts as a shelf life booster. It also ensures that the BHA penetrates the skin better! ⭐️ Water: well, it goes without saying, ideal solvent. ⭐️ Salicyclic Acid: Do we all know Richt?! The BHA princess in this bottle. Works against acne, exfoliates the epidermis and pores, prevents blackheads and is also a durability booster. ⭐️ Glycerine: has a moisturizing effect and is also skin-specific. ⭐️ Green tea leaf extract: This antioxidant soothes the skin. It is also anti-aging and soothing. The rookie also prevents redness! ⭐️ Sodium Hydroxide: hmm this sounds like it can burn yourself, but it just works to stabilize the ph value because it can sometimes go the wrong way when adding BHA. So 6 ingredients. I really like it. I've been using the peeling for 3 days now and I'm very happy with it! Yes, ok, I turned a little bit red at first, but luckily my skin is familiar with acidity. It doesn't sting, I don't experience any irritation and I have to say it just feels great on the skin! **updates to follow! Are you in the dm? Grab it for E5.99! 🥰🤟🏼😘
