Beachy Waves Salt Spray

Received this spray in my Goodiebox but I have no idea how best to use it?! I follow the steps as they are explained on the packaging, but it only makes my hair hard.. 🤔🤔 Someone tips?! Love!

Rituals salt water spray. I can be very short: it doesn't do anything for my hair! 🤷🏻‍♀️ unfortunately! And that's how I close the rituals hairline. This isn't for my hair, and it also has the idea that it's full of junk.
