26-12-2020 MeetMyBrand Advent Kalender Review by Beauty Brands Agency!!
I was one of the lucky ones who won one of the MeetMyBrand Advent calendar by guessing what was about the right amount of beauty products in the advent calendar. Here is my review of the advent calendar, what I think about it, whether it's worth buying and whether or not I recommend it. I want to start with the avent calendar packaging. It's a beautiful box! kwa look, a lot and quality of the box I have nothing to say other than that it really is a great box. Love it! On the content opinions are divided, I will split it up to fun, less fun and can be better. Fun: Day 1 started off well with a beautiful lipstick (luckily a color that looks good for me) from LookX, the Gold Pillowcase by Satin-Pillows is one of my favos! you get 2 lip balms from dr Lipp. 2 luxury sample size/travel size creams one of Maria Galland and one of Comfort zone. a nail polish from PJR Care (cruelty free brand) incl a gift card of 10 euro!! hand cream from pillows hotels incl a gift card. dry shampoo from Batiste. Edible Glitter dust by Smith&Sinclair. Soap bar and bath bomb from sunday rain. A foldable, ecofriendly waterbottle by Aqualicious and a lot of sheet masks by Oh-K, 7 Wonders and Jiinju. Vinoos wine gums is super cute!! Less fun: lots of sheet masks!! could have been a little less, on the other hand, I can now hand them out to fam and friends (sharing is caring). The Jewellery, I am pretty particular with my jewellery and will not wear what I received in the box (not my taste). The sample size products in Clay&Glow and literally a sample box of Pure White from a clay mask. For a luxury box that you pay more than 100 euros for, I would not like to have sample sizes in it. At least a travel size product or luxury sample size. Could be better: the gift cards! receive a gift card from Trashious twv 25 euros, where a bag above 100 euros will cost anyway. Find that a bit of a pity. Not everyone can pay so much for a bag and it might not be something to your liking and liking either. Same with XZOTA 10 euro gift card, where jewellery cannot be affordable for everyone and to taste and wish. The box is unfortunately not corona-proof, there is a gift card for Essential Aesthetics for a skin analysis and advice twv 50 euro. My point here is that they are based in The Hague, a place I hardly ever come... and the gift card is valid for 40 days... And finally, on day 2 you can get a free slip from Marie Jo via Lincherie twv of 29.50. Nice I thought!! until I saw that I had to make an appointment at the closest store for a personal date and then I believe to receive a free underwear? Especially in covid/lockdown times this was unfavourable, but despite that we expected to be able to order it online... also the gift card is only valid until 31-05-2021 so it will be exciting. So is it worth buying? I find this difficult but I doubt, and in doubt I'd rather say No. The reason I say no is because for 129 euros I prefer to get a box from a certain brand I love and know what to expect about products. Provided you are someone who loves surprises and has the 129 euros for that. Partly due to the fact that I personally didn't have much on half of the gift cards in it, I wouldn't do it. Thanks @beautybrandsagency and @weareeves for sending the box, sorry to not recommend it personally, maybe if there are some changes next year, that I change my opinion:)

I don't want to be ungrateful for what I got, but I can relate to the review above. I'm happy with a few things, but I would never have paid €129 for this box myself.
