Have been using this toner religiously for over 4 years and it is still one of my favourite skincare products. It does an amazing job as a second cleanse after washing my face but also gives my skin a hydrated and dewy look. Even with dry skin, it is hydrating enough for me to get away without wearing moisturiser in the summer months. Highly recommend

The Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner from Acwell has become a part on my skincare routine with great success

This Korean skincare product comes with licorice water which is simply superb to keep skin clear and to soothe facial irritation. Other ingredients include: Guava Leaves, Rose and Green Tea Extract.
I realize that the more I use it the more I see my face looking in better shape, less flaky and more even in tone.

I have found that using this product in the morning and evening works out great. Love the fact I don't have to wash it off and I can wear makeup on top no problem. I find this product easy to use, just put it on a cotton pad and swipe along your face. The thin water like texture is ideal to cleanse and tone

I was very happy to discover that the Acwell specializes in helping sensitive and damaged skin. It smells so lovely and herbal. Suitable for all skin types

This is 150ml toner that uses licorice root water which helps hydrate skin and refine skin texture by removing dead skin cells and impurities.

How to use: 👀
After cleansing the face, use a cotton pad and gently sweep across the face from centre, outwards. Final thoughts: 💭 This is the first time I heard of licorice containing product and so far I like that it’s suitable for sensitive skin like me. It balances the skin pH while maintaining moisture in my skin and regulates the oil/sebum production since I also have oily skin. I didn’t get any untoward reactions using this product and definitely recommend this toner. #SkincareIsTheBestCare  

Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner

I've used many toners in my life and this is high on my list of favorites but... it adds to your hyperpigmentation.

This however has provided my skin instantly with a natural shine once fully absorbed, which takes only about five minutes. It left my skin soft and smooth without that tacky feeling a lot of toners have.

The aroma is pleasing and the price won't break the bank. One of the best parts is that I can use it as a cleanser as well. This is perfect for people like me with sensitive skin and it doesn't make my oily skin feel worse. 

Sadly I can only use it twice a week or my hyperpigmentation is worse. I tend to use this more as a body toner than a face toner. And those with Eczema, the packaging warns you against using it.

This toner has an interesting effect on my dry skin. I have used different toners, but none have had such hydrating effect on me. I applied few drops on cleansed face with a cotton pad by gently wiping outwards from center. It has a mild citrusy scent which is refreshing. 

 The consistency of the toner, just like normal ones, is watery. But the most enticing part is its ingredients. It contains -

 * Licorice root : Licorice is said to have a soothing effect on skin and helps to ease inflammation. The glycyrrhizin found in licorice can reduce redness, irritation and swelling, and is used to treat skin conditions like atopic dermatitis and eczema. 

* Peony Flower Extract - This flower provides superior moisturizing, soothing, and antioxidant benefits. Peony extract is valued for Paeoniflorin, which has an antioxidant effect similar to Vitamin E, helping to neutralize free radicals, support the skin barrier, and nourish the skin.

 * Green Tea Extract - Due to its multifaceted nature, green tea is said to have been studied as a treatment for a variety of dermatological conditions, such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, viral warts, and even skin cancer. This anti-oxidant protects the skin, minimises signs of ageing, reduces excess sebum, and soothes irritated skin. 

 Now something about pH 5.5 benefits - The abbreviation pH stands for potential hydrogen, and it tells us how much hydrogen is in liquids—and how active the hydrogen ion is. The pH of water is 7 which is neutral. pH 5.5 leads to soft and smooth skin, aids in skin renewal and imparts a healthy glow to the skin and guards skin from infections. 

 For best results, make sure of few things : 
1. Don’t rinse off after application as it will wash away all the goodies from the product. 
2. Swipe your pad gently if using one, or you could gently tap the product into your skin. Please do not rub hard, could loosen your skin. 
3. Follow up with the next step in your favourite routine within couple of seconds of applying the toner. Please do not let it dry on your skin. 

 It claims to be suitable for oily, dry, combination, sensitive skin types. Does not contain any harmful chemical or paraben. I liked the product very much and would certainly recommend to my friends and family.

This is a really good Korean brand that helps your skin specially when it's experiencing irritation. It is so handy to have a cleanser and toner in one product. I use it morning and evening. Just put some in a cotton pad and wipe gently across your face. Works great on my neck too. This is suitable for all types of skin
