For my very dry lips I cannot use a lipstick without putting this on first. It als prolongs the time of the lipstick staying on.

This product takes care of your lips and prepares them for lipstick or lip gloss. My lips feel wonderfully hydrated and supple. No more dry lips. Not even when I use matte lipstick. This often gives me dry lips but this primer really works great! Nothing bothers you anymore and the lipstick really stays in place better.

I got this lipstick with my other Clinique purchases and I'm super happy with it. A nice warm nude shade with a sheen. Lasts just a little longer than a lip gloss and doesn't stick as much. I'm happy with it. #SkincareIsTheBestCare.

Hi! A while ago, I got MAC's Prep + Prime Lip Primer. I was incredibly curious about this, because I really like MAC. The primer itself smells nice and applies easily to your lips. This is partly because it runs at an angle and therefore moves easily over your lips. Then I let it dry for a while before applying the lipstick. I do this because otherwise I feel like I get so greasy on the lipstick. After applying the lipstick, I went to eat and drink. I had hoped that my lipstick would remain a bit more visible on my lips, so it would be more colored. Unfortunately... a thin, almost colorless, layer remains. Maybe I'm using it incorrectly, but I'm disappointed and wouldn't buy it anytime soon because of this. X

Clinique Pop Lip Colour and Primer 🤩🤩🤩 Review This lipstick is one of the regular items in Clinique's range. I've also had it in the color Rebelpop for a while now. Clinique promises a rich color and nourishing primer in one product for nourished and hydrated lips. Rebelpop is a beautiful deep berry shade. Love these kinds of colors for autumn and winter. The lipstick includes apricot kernel oil and shea butter, which nourishes and hydrates. The lipstick glides smoothly over the lips and immediately gives off a lot of color. The lips also feel smooth. I think that's also the primer effect. Furthermore, you should not expect too much from that primer effect because it is absolutely not the case that the color does not fade, while Clinique promises that the color does not fade. The lipstick stained a bit, but you should update the color after eating and drinking for that nice opaque effect. The lipstick is similar to a satin lipstick in terms of color/pigment, feel on the lips. No longlasting lipstick or anything. It's a nice lipstick and I love the color. I've been using it for a year and a half now. It is very user-friendly and spreads beautifully. I always use it before applying lip pencil and lipstick. My lips don't dry out, no annoying skin and last but not least: your lipstick just stays in place better. So happy with it!

I was very curious about this product when I bought it. After application, lips tingle. I saw little result. Lips don't stick because of the product, but that was nice. Unfortunately, it did not give the desired result. Maybe too high expectations 🥲

Another one of my favs is this lipstick. The color is really beautiful and you can build up. A bit dabbing and you have light pink, but if you want more intense, you can put several layers over each other. Lasts for a super long time and you won't get dry lips!

Good lip primer, tingling slightly but not annoying. Keep my lipstick in place, even shiny lipsticks stay in place and don't even give off thanks to this lip primer 4 star reason: does not give a plumping effect but I definitely recommend this

Okay, I'm 52, I have dry lips and like to wear a matte nude lipstick like pillow talk. To prevent dry lips, apply a layer of lip balm under the lipstick. As a result, the lipstick does not hold or cover so nicely. Until I saw rave comments here on Eve about the Mac lip primer. Coincidentally, there was one with a nice pink shell on sale. My experience with this primer: * it makes your lips nice and soft smooth but absolutely non-greasy. * apply your lipstick evenly, without visible grooves or wrinkles * lipstick lasts longer. * no dry lips with skin more!!!! NEED I SAY MORE????

I actually bought the prep+ prime lip primer 'accident'. The MAC store employee misunderstood me when I asked for a gloss that would “keep” my lipstick. I have lips that repel lipstick or something, it never stays with me... Anyway, I got my hands on this primer and thought that... until I took a good look at my purchase at home. I was disappointed at first, but... now I can't do without my lip primer. In the morning, it's one of the first things I smear, the primer on my lips. It takes the sheets away, it smoothes the things and it doesn't feel greasy or dirty. Actually, it feels very natural. When I then provide the lips with a tan, it stays in place considerably longer! A good bad buy thus!

I only have to use the prime lip once a day and it is wonderfully soft on my lips and my lips look fuller.

This is a very fine lip primer, My lipstick will last much longer with this primer underneath. Especially with M.A.C. matte lipsticks, this product is very nice because it doesn't dry out my lips that way.

Can't properly describe what it does, but I like it. By the way, I rarely use lipstick so don't use this to prevent spouts. Somehow it gives a nice matte edge around my lips that looks very natural but also makes them look fuller.

Doesn't do anything for your lips, unfortunately. 💁🏼‍♀️ This should plump your lips, but I'm just feeling some tingling from the menthol. In addition, it makes the lipstick a bit more matte. Any positive thing I could find; it costs almost nothing! But yes, so money thrown away. Save your money, and buy something else for it 😉

Feels greasy at first, like candle wax, but after drying it up, you won't feel any of it anymore. Gives crumbs on your lips that you have to wipe away otherwise you will have crumbly lipstick. Keeps lipstick reasonably in place and makes sure it doesn't run completely in your lines.

The M.A.C. lip primer does its job. Easy to apply and keeps my lipstick for a long time. Does not stick! I personally like the scent a little less.

You always want your lipstick to stay as long as possible and beautiful, especially with a dry lipstick this can be a challenge for me. Actually, I only wear the MAC matte lipsticks, where this product is the perfect base: the lipstick glides more easily over your lips, stays in place longer and I have less dimps/dry lips. Even my friends are amazed at how everything stays so neat. I was pretty skeptical about this product, especially since the price is quite high, however I am glad to have purchased it. I would definitely recommend this product. You just need to be a little careful, the substance is soft, so you may (accidentally) press the stick or drop it to the floor ;-)

Surprised but pricey. I bought this lip primer on the good reviews and because I often wear lip products. Packaging is very small, and the primer itself is a good size. The substance is very soft, do not press too hard! It slips over my lips and right after you put it on it looks sooo smooth! So a lipstick over that would be best, right? However, yesterday night after the primer NO longer gained lipstick because I went to sleep. Wake up next day with very dry lips with lots of skins. Oh, well, he didn't get out of the test so well. But my test was not an egg either, I really had a lot of skins and I wasn't used to myself. Yet primer and lipstick gained today during the day and it did not help anything. The matte lipstick only made my dry lips more visible. Not a success today but I am convinced it works well when my lips are smoother. All in all, fine primer for your lips but not worth 20 euros. For 20 euros I expect more product and amazing results.

I swear by this primer! I wear lipstick regularly for years and always use good lipstick, primer and lip pencil. I care for my lips with a good lip balm because lipstick sometimes dries out. This primer also works moisturizing and ensures the lipstick does not run out and lasts for a long time. Have already devoured several. It takes a long time, so it's worth every penny.
