This palette is on top, the colors are very well pigmented, you can do various day or evening looks... there are really basic shades and come with the more glittery shades on top... Personally, I use it as a daytime look and I can come and do a little extra touch if it's for the evening... I don't use the brush... I sometimes find them too small... The colors blend well... and the sequins hold without a base...
