Got this soap for my daughter. Her skin is a lot calmer after a short use, so I wonder if she uses it longer. It does have a strong smell that you have to be able to cope with. My daughter describes that as the smell of old wet books. It is quite soft to use. For problem skin, I definitely recommend this one.

I have been buying these soap blocks at a local Turkish supermarket for a number of years now. I see on the internet that this is sold at bol.com for €22, - I paid a maximum of €6, - for it! So look local:) But these blocks are 100% natural and contain a combination of laurel berry and olive oil. They have used this product from time immemorial and is therefore also known for its caring and cleansing properties. It does not dry out your skin and contains no weird perfume or alcohol. I use it for my body and face and on vacation also for my hair. Washing your hair with it is a bit more challenging to distribute everything well. And especially in the beginning, your hair will feel a little stiffer. I find that I prefer a shampoo bar (loofies) because I have style and quickly greasy hair. But my friend (thicker hair and curly) uses only this. It really is a top multifunctional product. And if you have skin problems, take a step back and try such a block. You may have to get used to the scent, it is a bit more earthy (laurel and olive) but it does not stick. If you really want to smell fragrant, spray a perfume instead of shower gel that dries out your skin.
