DIY: Himalayan Salt Scrub. Bye dear, beautiful Eves! This is really the simplest DIY I could think of and you'll be done in 5 minutes! Himalayan salt is good for blood circulation, cleans pores, natural detox for your skin, has minerals that will make your skin happy and is also super relaxing with muscle pain. I've added oils all of which have fine ingredients to nourish and soften your skin and natural fragrance oils that also have fine properties for your skin. I love fresh and fruity in a scrub, so I have grapefruit and peppermint, but other variations are possible! (Lavender, calendula, jasmine, ylang ylang (sparingly!) , bergamot, etc) All ingredients are available at Holland&Barret (de Tuinen) and adaptable for endless variations. What do you need: 225gr Himalayan salt, 2 tablespoons coconut oil, 2 tablespoons avocado oil, 2 tablespoons apricot kernel oil, 15 drops of grapefruit oil, 2-4 drops of peppermint oil, soap shavings (I used Marseille soap) How to make it: make sure your coconut oil is liquid, weigh Himalayan salt a kitchen scales, add the oils and “mash” your mixture and stir until all the salt has absorbed the oils (your salt goes from pale pink to more salmon pink) finally add your essential oils and some soap-shavings (for tips, ask in the comments) repeat the mashing and stirring and Kees and Klara are ready! The salt keeps your scrub good, but to be sure to use a lockable container or box can never hurt. Look out in your shower, because the oils can smooth your floor... Happy Scrubbing, beauties!
