Product is disproportionate to price
I've been using the product for a week, so I don't know what the results are after prolonged use. The product spreads well and you don't need much of it. I don't really notice any difference in my skin texture or pigmentation. I wouldn't buy it myself, because the price is quite high.

Prima serum
I received a sample of this serum for testing. The first thing you notice is the smell, which is very strong and a bit unpleasant. The serum absorbs very quickly, too fast in my opinion, smearing is almost impossible. What I do find positive is that the impurities have partly diminished and my skin looks less red. I used this serum every morning.

Medium serum for a luxury brand.
The serum contains a high concentration of ascorbic acid (pure vitamin c). Ascorbic acid is a good but unstable form of vitamin c. It is very resistant to oxygen, light and water. The addition of ferulic acid ensures the stability of ascorbic acid, but the package consists of a glass bottle with a pipette, which continuously adds oxygen when used. This ensures that the serum oxidizes within a month and the ascorbic acid loses its effect. For an expensive luxury brand, I would have liked airtight packaging. In addition, the second ingredient is alcohol denat, which dries out the skin. I found the serum a bit thicker than other vitamin c serums that I normally use and because it absorbs quickly, you can't spread it properly. I don't have oily skin myself and didn't think the serum was bad but not really an addition either. I can't justify the price of €177 for myself at all. I myself have been using a prequel serum for a while, unfortunately not available in the Netherlands yet, but it is a lot nicer and much cheaper for less than a quarter of the price! Benefits: -High concentration of vitamin c -Contains ferulic acid -Contains salicylic acid (exfoliant) Cons: -Contains alcohol denat -No airtight packaging -Doesn't spread well -Price/quality ratio I had been curious about a number of Skinceuticals products for a while and was very excited to test them, but for a good vitamin c serum, I really stick to my hard-to-get Prequel serum.
