Until about two years ago, I used cleansing wipes to remove my makeup. Then I washed my face. Every morning I woke up with remnants of makeup from the day before. Then I started cleansing balms to cleanse my face. I noticed a big difference immediately. Since I did this, I really feel that my face has been cleansed, which I didn't have with the wipes. My skin also feels much calmer after a cleansing balm than with wipes. You also just need a lot of wipes to remove everything, especially when you're wearing mascara. My eyes therefore always looked irritated by rubbing the wipes. And it's not just about Nivea's wipes, it's about all brands.
