Moroccanoil Treatment Purple

The new Moroccanoil Treatment formula with purple pigments is SUPER! Often, products with violet pigment are mainly recommended for people with blond hair or highlighted. But I love it very much because it takes the coppery/orange glow out of my grey areas. The oil has a very nice subtle scent. The texture of the oil is very light and absorbs quickly into your hair without leaving it greasy or heavy. 😇 Because it is absorbed very quickly, I think it is a perfect product to apply to towel-dried hair, before blow-drying. It then gives extra shine and nourishes your hair a little deeper. Lovely product! Don't expect a mega silver effect like a silver shampoo, but it certainly removes the yellow tint from your hair. In addition, your hair becomes incredibly soft and gives a nice shine. The small downside is the smell, which is very intense. But of course, this is personal taste. Tip: I apply the oil to towel-dried hair because I have fine hair and otherwise my hair will quickly become greasy again.

I'm already a big fan of the normal moroccanoil treatment, so you can understand how excited I was when this violet variant came out with my bleached hair! Since I bleached my hair, my hair has been a lot dryer, and the oil ensures that my hair is nourished and soft. Despite the fact that I have fine hair, this oil does not make my hair greasy and heavy, but I do have this with other hair oils. The smallest version of this oil is 25 ml but make no mistake: it can last you a long time. A little goes a long way! The glass bottle gives a luxurious look, although a pump would have been more pleasant for distributing the oil. Now that is a bit awkward and you have to close the bottle again with oily hands. This product has purple pigments to remove yellow tones from your hair. I must honestly say that I see a minimal effect from this. Because of the bright purple color, I expected the same effect as silver shampoos or conditioners, but that is definitely not the case. Despite that, I do like the product, but when this bottle runs out, I will probably use the normal moroccan oil again for this reason.
