Glycolic Renewal Cleanser

I've always wanted to try out SkinCeutics products, especially the famous vitamin C. So how happy I was to test this cleanser. I'm really a cleanser snob, and the ritual of my evening routine is really sacred to me. Because I already use a lot of actives, I have to choose the days that I use this cleanser. During the first use, I was really shocked because it stung sooo much, I was really afraid I was having an allergic reaction. But the next morning, I woke up with radiant and truly smoother skin. Wow! I now use the cleanser a maximum of 2 times a week and only in the evenings, and that way it works great for me. However, I do not use any other actives afterwards and only skin barrier healing products. I would definitely buy the cleanser myself, despite the high price because it is so effective, so I don't use it much and will therefore last for a long time.

Works well for combination skin. In my case, it doesn't dry out my skin and doesn't look shiny. I only use the product once a day, though, because exfoliating twice a day seemed like a bit much to me. You don't need a lot of product. So you can take a long time with the product (150ML). Packaging looks luxurious without too much fuss. I think the price is a bit high (€45, -). I can't say if it's worth the price yet, I'll have to use it longer to do that. I like the cleanser, my sensitive skin responds well to it and feels soft after use. Twice a day seemed like a bit much to me, so I only used the cleanser in the evening to cleanse my face and then used serum and night cream. I don't know if it's because of the cleanser, but menstruation came through without any pimples, even though it usually bothers me. I'll keep using it once a day and wonder if the effect will last. I don't notice the brightening effect, but to be honest, I also find it a bit vague and it's not a claim that invites me to buy a product. Little sidenote: It stings your eyes and tastes very salty, so keep it in case you accidentally get it in your eyes or mouth (it also says on the package that this is not the intention, but it can always happen) And the price, it's high. Although the product is economical to use and should it prove itself in the long (er) term, I would still consider buying it again. Or something else from the @ [~skinceuticals] line. I have the idea that a serum or toner with similar active ingredients does more than just a cleanser, after all, you wash it off again.
