Moderately enthusiastic, the effect is good, but ease of use and smell less
Given my dry scalp - it seems like I'm getting itching faster and faster these days after a wash, with small accumulations/bumps of dander (how is it possible, does it possibly have something to do with hormones or nutrition?) - I seemed good to try this shampoo, on which I bought the cream rinse directly. The shampoo is fine, but I'm not really excited. I like it when a shampoo foams, feels soft to the touch and doesn't get my hair tangled right away. This product feels a bit “dry” in use, does not foam, my hair tangles it and it smells okay. Not very fantastic or dirty, some kind of dull ginger. I don't like it in terms of ease of use and smell, but in terms of effect it is one of the best shampoos I've had so far. I have less (fast) itching on my head and after a trip with another product I think I'm going back to this one (temporarily). If anyone has any tips on fantastic shampoos + conditioners on this problem, I love to hear from you.

After reading several hoping reviews, I ordered this shampoo from The Body Shop. I have been suffering from a very dry and itchy scalp for years and I have tried everything to my sensation... without success. Then I read about the Body Shop's Ginger Shampoo, which should be about a miracle cure if I had to believe different reviews. I've used the shampoo three times now, and since the third use, the itch seems to be getting less! It's not a panacea for me, so far, but worth a while to keep testing! Are there any people with tips for dry scalp? Love! Xxx

Heavy
Because I had been looking for a good shampoo for my hair for so long (sensitive scalp, dull plucks, but quickly oily hair), this one also came along. In the shop of the body shop, you will always be welcomed by super sweet people and a very nice scent. When I explained my story, she recommended this shampoo to me. When I tried it out at home, I was the first to notice the smell. The smell is super strong, but not annoying if you like the smell of ginger. The first time I got more flakes than usual, but often this happens when I change shampoo. In the end, it became less, but no less than what I started with. The product is quite intense and I have the idea that as a result, the rest of my hair started to become a bit static and dry. So for me, the product didn't work, but I think it can do wonders for someone who only suffers from dandruff. I don't recommend it for people with sensitive scalp, this product is really too heavy for that. 😊
