Foundation

A while back, I asked here what a good foundation was for my dry skin. On the advice of a number of you and also good stories on the internet, a test kit was ordered. In any case, it's nice that you can test this for not too much money. Should offer more brands! After some swatching, I came to the conclusion that a mix of Pearl and Almond was my perfect match. In terms of colormatch and the fact that you can also mix it easily, I love it. The site contains tips for applying. I followed this one. It is also better for dry skin, massage it in soon after the cream. I think this worked out well. And I am quite surprised at the result. Because it's a powder, I was afraid it was too dry and therefore wouldn't work like that on my skin. But I was wrong about that. The powder covers well and does not accentuate the dry spots on my skin at all! It gives a good smooth result. But I'm still not convinced to buy it because it looks a bit too matt and dry. Personally, I prefer a natural glow finish. I tested various creams and oils as a surface to see if it gives a different finish but it didn't seem to work out much. A thin layer is a lot nicer than a very thick layer but still too matt for my taste. If it is still applying, the ease of use is not easy enough for me for daily use. What I also liked less is that it doesn't seem to match well with non-mintenz makeup. My powder blush seemed to have a much worse color pay off and with liquid ones it became a muddy mess faster, so you really have to dab very carefully. I also had a mintenz highlighter tester and you can see that it blends nicely into the foundation. Another disadvantage is that I mess with it quickly and powder ends up on my clothes and under my mirror, maybe that's not as fast with the full size packaging. I can see that if you like full coverage mat, this can really be a good product. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin at all and I'm still pleasantly surprised at the performance on my skin type, but I think it's just not my thing. I feel too comfortable when I wear it.

Incredibly fine mineral makeup that looks very natural. It takes some getting used to how you apply it, but when you get it, it's really beautiful. Covers great, easy to build. The only disadvantage for me (and therefore 4 stars) is that it is not nice when you sweat a lot in your face. So not suitable for me in the summer. #WAEAWARDS2022

Very nice that you can first order a set of testers for the right color. Still trying out, but the coverage seems to be building nicely and it looks natural. Very nice for daily use, although the liquid foundation comes out for a night out. By the way, the concealer is also very nice.
