Long time favourite
This was one of the first products I ever tried, as a hand me down from my mum along with a kohl liner at 13. Ignoring the nostalgia, it has remained a long time favourite of mine and goes everywhere with me— it’s great for minimal make up, rushing out the door, with its easy and speedy application. It offers a subtle but perfect shimmer, and adds that little bit of confidence I need be it a full face of make up or a last minute step on the go. I unfortunately don’t have much frame of reference for what it looks like on darker skin tones, though I’m sure it would pop perfectly with its subtle pink undertones! My one critique is that if you don’t apply it carefully in small amounts, is it is prone to smudging or fading. I find this is less of an issue when you aren’t wearing foundation, though I’m aware I’m saying that as someone with generally clear skin. I have dry skin, and often work liquid on liquid exclusively, and find this isn’t an issue as long as you use it in moderation allowing it to dry down properly! You can always add a gentle second coat 🫶 Finally, it lasts for ages— each tube, with near daily use, lasts me roughly a year despite its small size. A must for those with dry skin who like subtle sparkle!

benefit high beam highlighter
It is extremely pigmented, a little bit of product goes a long way! It looks especially nice on the cheekbones, I tried it on the inner corner of my eyes as highlight too and it did the job! It can be a little hard to control at first as if you accidentally get it in the wrong place it really sticks haha but all in all it’s great!
