Protein for your hair
Hi! Recently I @fuente tried the brand's Protein Shampoo (line: Trigo). And what a shampoo! So nice! You don't need much to get a great result. After use, my hair shines and has much more volume the day after. The scent is separate, but not dirty. The shampoo itself is pricey and I wouldn't buy it soon. And that's a shame to me. Does anyone else have experience with this GREAT shampoo? X

Source Wheat Protein Shampoo
FuenteTrigo protein shampoo €27.95 250ml. I was super happy when I read: “The Trigo protein shampoo provides more VOLUME, strength and shine. This protein shampoo has a positive effect on the elasticity of the hair and ensures that fine and lifeless hair becomes firm and resilient.” I have fine hair, but I do have a lot, so volume can use my hair. Well, I understand by volume that my hair is “a bit more bulky”. Unfortunately, this shampoo does not give volume in that way. My hair thickens palpably. That's what the Syoss full hair does. Only it is €3.50 for 500ml. And I personally like to smell better, hahaha. I love something sweet, fresh scents. Not that I think this fuente shampoo stink! I use 4 pumps for my long hair at first washing and 2 pump washing the 2nd time, I find a pump handy and in use, but I have to say that this pump does pump “heavy”. It cleanses my hair and moisturizes my scalp well. In terms of shine I see no difference, my hair shine itself already quite a bit. I like this a fine and ok shampoo, but I'm looking for a shampoo that gives more volume anyway. @fuente @weareeves Extra info: Unfortunately the next day the tactile thickness of the hair has disappeared. Which means to me that this is a regular moisturizing shampoo for €27.95! Unfortunately absolutely no volume and only 1 day thickening of the hair. What makes for me that the 3 stars I gave first drop to just 2 stars. In the same price range, Beaver give more volume and chi (farouk) gives a longer hold thickness to my hair!

Fuente Trigo shampoo: too good to be true?
I've been allowed to test fuente trigo shampoo from the brand over the past period @fuente. The shampoo seemed to be ideal for me; for fine and lifeless hair. I've used it a few times now. I switched my regular shampoo (temporarily) for this shampoo and the rest of my routine has remained the same so I could compare well.. I'm not the biggest fan of the ingredients list myself. There is plastic in it (acrylates copolymer). So with every wash I wash away plastic. Citric acid is also high on the list. I have a fairly sensitive scalp so that made me a little scared. But I tried it anyway. Final judgment: not great. The shampoo is very stamped. It doesn't easily spread over the hair. I've had sulphate-free shampoos that did. I liked the scent. My hair was clean afterwards. The after effects did not give me a kite effect. I didn't get the more volume promised. My hair even got a little fluffy that I ended up taming with more leave in than usual. I normally use a shampoo only for my scalp. This didn't make my scalp aggressive (which I was afraid of at first). Only my hair is a bit greaser but that can also be due to the switch to this shampoo because I used a scalp shampoo first. Overall: Great for getting your hair clean. Disappointing to me personally alone.
