Nice but too expensive for me
I thought this was a really nice shampoo bar. It didn't make my fine hair greasy, which often happens with shampoo bars. Nevertheless, not my favorite product because I was twice really too short with the bar for how much it costs. Of course, it's really nice that a shampoo bar foams well, but if that's too much it will go up too fast.

SLS vs SCS 🤔 A few months ago I switched to shampoo bars! Totally good for the environment of course, but less good for my scalp. 🤕 After looking at the ingredients I saw that the first ingredient in my shampoo bar is SLS. Sodium Lauryl Sulphate Sulfates are wax active substances that have a cleansing, foaming effect on (head) skin, hence they are often found in shampoos. Lately, sulfates have been reprobated for being cleansed too thoroughly, thus dissolving the natural skin fat in addition to grease and dirt. In the case of shampoos, it would produce dry, irritated scalp. Since I've been using this shampoo, I've been experiencing a lot of trouble! My scalp feels itchy, itchy and burning all day, even when I haven't washed it. That's why I bought a shampoo bar from Ethique now. This shampoo bar contains Sodium coco-sulfate instead of SLS. Sodium Coco Sulfate is a lot milder and better tolerated than Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which is quite aggressive. Since I switched to the Ethique shampoo bar, the burning, itchy feeling on my scalp has gone again! I think it's an incredibly fine shampoo that cleans well but does not affect the skin.
