Skin Food

Weleda Skin Food is an absolute game-changer when it comes to nourishing and hydrating your skin. The texture is rich and luxurious, and a little goes a long way. I love using it as a moisturizer for my face and body, especially during the colder months when my skin tends to get dry. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth, and nourished. Plus, it has a lovely, subtle scent that I find really calming.

So I bought this as I thought it would be excellent for my slightly dry face and I'd heard great things. As with most products, I think this is one of those that really is better for some than for others. I don't find this nice to put on my face as it's quite Sticky and very thick (though I haven't tried the light version which I think could counter this). HOWEVER I absolutely loooove this as a hand cream for when my hands start to get cracked and chapped in the winter and it works wonders on smaller patches of very dry skin. I think it's quite protective as it's so thick, and it does do a great job moisturising. It smells so lush, kind of citrus but in a luxury way?

I have eczema prone skin and it is so nourishing. The cream is so thick which often requires you to warm the product up with your hands to gently smother the application onto face. It is greasy but keeps you moisturised for hours. Only Con is the smell, it is fragranced and strong.
